Guess what I did last weekend! I stayed home with mom while Dad and Yosef were out of town! It was one of the most fun weekends! We went to the park to feed the ducks. While we were at the park a duck started a fight with other ducks! It was very funny! As we were going to the van, we spotted an ant hill. We tried to guess whether the queen ant or the princess ant lays eggs. Then we went to the library so we could study about ants. We learned that the queen ant lays eggs every second of the day. Then we went to Battle Park. It was fun because we got to climb the rocks. When we got home we got to watch lots of TV. It was a very fun weekend!
Hi Mihret. Glad you had a nice time with Mom. I can't get over what a great writer you have become. Papa and I are so excited that you guys are coming next week. Are you excited too? You will have a lot to write about after your visit up here. It's getting cold but the leaves are really pretty now on the trees. I hope they stay that way for you to see them. They're beatufiful. ReplyDeleteHey there Mihret! It sounds like you had a wonderful time with your mom. Rachel and I had a great time today too. We had a Girl's Day at home. We made s'mores and ate ice cream, watched a movie and played with our cats. It was rainy outside, but we had a great time indoors! Moms and daughters are the best, best friends!!!

Battle Park is SO cool!! I love that park! All the trails and paths through the woods. It's really neat, and you can see all kinds of cool looking insects.
ReplyDeleteDucks are weird, too! When they fight, a lot of times, it's boys fighting over the girls!!!! Weird, but hey... it works for the ducks.
Keep up the outdoor science! Only about another month or so of that left...
